Flamingo Fugitive (Supernatural Bounty Hunters 5)
genuinely attracted to him.  Alcohol was consumed; she thought it would be fun to tie him up, and he was having far too good a time to disagree.  Turns out she can handle her liquor very well.  She had him tied up and was out the door before he realized it wasn’t some kind of sexy foreplay.  By the time he literally managed to break the bed, she must have been halfway to Reno.  A man in his position might have been pissed, but not Stone.  He had a very relaxed attitude to life.  Sometimes things didn’t go his way, but most of the time they did – so who was he to complain?  Course the loss of the bounty and paying to replace the bed he broke kind of put a dent in his finances.  So yes, some more work would be welcome.  The ferret shifter skip hadn’t exactly set his bank account on fire.  But he wasn’t worried about it.  He wouldn’t be turfed out of his home.  He had a special relationship with his landlady.  No, not that!   They just flirted and he fixed her toilet when it broke.
“What do you want?” asked Mia, grumpily as she rubbed her neck and winced.
Stone sidled around her desk and held out his hands.  “May I?”  She scrunched up her face.  “You look tense.”
“Fine,” she hissed before groaning as he started massaging her shoulders.  His after workout massages were legendary.
The moan she let out as he worked on a knot in her lower back was practically sinful.  “Okay, that does feel good, but if Logan asks, this never happened.”
“You got it.”  Even thought they weren’t doing anything wrong, discretion was the key where mated women were concerned.
“A skip, babe.  Any skip.”  He gave her a sincere look that he immediately ruined by adding, “Although if they happened to be blonde and gorgeous, I wouldn’t mind.”
Mia shrugged away from his hands.  “You’re unbelievable.”
    “Yeah, I get that a…”
“Why must you make sex jokes?!” she hissed, waspishly.
“Oh, did I miss all the sex jokes?  I’m sure some more will come along in the few moments.”  Zara, a fellow bounty hunter and a witch who could do unspeakable things with voodoo dolls, sauntered into the office.  “It’s one of the more reassuring aspects of Stone’s personality, that he can be relied upon to be smutty and the biggest manwhore in town.”
Stone placed a hand on his heart in mock horror.  “Hey, I take offence at that.  I am flirty at best, but never smutty.  But yes, I am the biggest in town.”  He waggled his eyebrows.
Zara rolled her eyes.  “Yeah, can’t imagine why I mistook that for smut.”  She looked at Mia.  “You got any skips for me?”
    “Sure, we’re actually pretty busy.”
“And yet you’re making me beg for a skip!” he complained in an exaggerated hurt voice.
Zara arched an eyebrow.  “If you’re hard up for cash, have you considered selling your body?”
Stone smirked in response.  “Yes, they said it was so beautiful that they couldn’t put a price on it.”  His rhino was practically laughing at that one.
On the other hand, Mia was practically gagging.  “If you promise to go away right now, I will give you a skip.  Okay?”
“Yeah, do I get to choose…”
“No.”  She sighed but then smiled sweetly.  “Zara can you pass me that file from over there?  The one on top that has the name Leslie on it.”
Zara cocked her head to one side in curiosity.  She glanced at the file and then bit her lip before passing it to Mia.
“It’s your lucky day,” declared Mia.  And if Stone had thought about it at the time, he would have questioned her declaration.  But as it was he was happy just to go with the flow.  “Leslie is blonde and also a stripper.”
Stone’s eyes gleamed with interest.  “Really?”
    “Really.”
“Awesome.”  He started opening the file when Mia interrupted.
“And according to Leslie’s employment agency, Leslie is due to perform at a private party tonight.  Here’s the
