Foxy on the Run: Book One, Supernatural Bounty Hunters Novellas
under one roof.
She picked up a pair of pants, some t-shirts, a baseball cap, a backpack, a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap, underwear, a pre-paid phone and most importantly some food. She was starving! As she was walking down the donut aisle it suddenly occurred to her that she hadn’t eaten since breakfast, and then it was only granola. Which wasn’t real food anyway .
She flicked through the basic cable TV channels as she munched on one of the dozen Happy Heart donuts she had picked up. Happy Heart made the best donuts in the world, bar none . At that moment she was gorging on a mandarin cheesecake donut, having already devoured the pistachio almond and root beer donuts.
T hankfully there was still no mention of her on the news. She flicked through until she found a rerun of Mike and Molly and tried to focus on that. She could still walk around Playa Lunar anonymously, nobody was looking for her. Her fox growled coyly. Apart from the very pissed off wolf bounty hunter.
Damn, that made her pause. Ugh, the thought made her stomach churn and another part of her anatomy very lively. He might be a complication. Now he had her phone so he knew the names and addresses of her friends and her family. Great, now she couldn’t even go to them for help.
She looked at the extra strength deodorant and soap she’d bought. It didn’t say it on the package but it was a well known fact that they were designed for shifters who wanted to mask their natural scent. You couldn’t just advertise that though, it would make it look like you were helping shifters break the law.
The thought of seeing him again was enticing, but despite her fox’s whining objections she didn’t think it was a good idea. As much as she would love to feel his warm body crushing her, the feel of his soft lips against hers, his big hand snaking its way through her panties to her sex already wet with desire... well crap . Her body flushed with heat. Perhaps a cold shower was in order...
Gathering up the new toiletries s he practically ran to the bathroom. Throwing off her now dirty and irreparable court clothes she jumped under the spray.
She soaped up her body, gently massaging her aching muscles. Her hands lingered over her sensitive breasts, kneading them lightly. Lord how she wished it was a certain wolf doing this to her instead!
Her fingers traced down the slight swell of her stomach, down her slightly thick waist. She’d always been a bit shy about her size, but being under the enormous wolf had made her feel so dainty, and feminine. His obvious arousal had made her feel beautiful and proud of her full curves.
Her fingers travelled south as images of her sexy wolf flashed through her mind. After the last few weeks perhaps a bit of sexual release might be just what the doctor ordered...

Chapter Five
Carly pulled the baseball cap down over her face. After last night she had slept better than she had since this whole mess with Carlton started. She felt refreshed and energized, ready to take on the world! Or at least ready to go on the run for a murder she didn’t commit... minor detail.
She surveyed the crowd at the bus station. She guessed the easiest way to get out of town was on a bus. There wasn’t the hassle of needing a passport or the security restrictions you found at airports and train stations. As far as the authorities were concerned nobody important rode the bus .
So far without problem she had purchased a one way ticket to San Francisco, eaten a breakfast burrito at the fast food chain restaurant Hola Sunshine! And now she was leafing through magazines.
She was a little self conscious about being out without a bra, in her haste she had picked up the wrong size from the Stop ‘n’ Go , but she could deal with a little awkwardness for a few hours.
Carly had arrived early and blended in seamlessly with the other tourists sporting backpacks and baseballs caps. No one gave a second thought to the plump
