yelled. She thought she heard Hale laugh
but all sound was drowned out by the intensity of the feeling.
Hale bent his head over her shoulder. “Do you like the way I
fuck you?”
Leah couldn’t even respond. There was a nuclear bomb inside
her waiting to go off. She moaned and whimpered as he rubbed her just the right
way, then the explosion took her by force and she cried out.
“Hale!” she screamed, followed by some unintelligible garble
brought forth by pure ecstasy.
The shaking of Leah’s body continued long past the end of
the orgasm. When she remembered to breathe again she felt wet…too wet.
“Oh shit,” she said. “Did I miss it again?”
“You missed nothing,” came the reply. “Welcome to forgetting
the comfort zone.”
    * * * * *
Leah arrived for her speech class the next morning still
glowing. After Hale disappeared again she spent the entire evening replaying
the epic orgasm she’d had. It was so unlike anything she’d ever experienced.
While her previous encounters had all been plain-old
missionary position—where he came and she was left with cleanup duty—with Hale
everything was different. It was all about Leah. Even when she was eating him
up, somehow it was still all about her. Even knowing that, she felt bad about
not feeling bad that it was all focused on her and her pleasure. And her
fucking the comfort zone.
Leah giggled to herself. A few people turned and stared but
she didn’t care. Let them think she was crazy. She knew none of them had
experienced a night like she had.
The class went as usual. There were no rude comments this
time. Leah smiled to herself. Let them say whatever they want , she
thought. I am good at many things and the list keeps growing.
When Mrs. Larson announced “time for thinking on your feet”,
the class groaned as usual but Leah raised her hand. The instructor paused,
staring at her for a moment before saying, “Yes, Leah?”
“I’d like to try again if you don’t mind.” Her conscious
mind screamed, what the fuck?
“Well, knowing you’re going to speak beforehand isn’t really
the purpose of this exercise but…what are rules for if not to be broken from
time to time?”
You have no idea , Leah thought.
“I’d like to hear about a time when you overcame an
obstacle,” Mrs. Larson said. “Brad?”
Leah deflated in her seat. What was that shit about breaking
the rules? The other student stood and talked about a sporting event where he
fought through a sore muscle to win the game. Leah wondered about the
truthfulness of his story but all the while was thinking about exactly what
obstacles she’d overcome in recent days.
When the boy finally shut up, Mrs. Larson said, “Now tell
me, what is something that you’re good at of which you are particularly proud?
Leah?”
Leah couldn’t even stand for a moment. Was Hale in cahoots
with her public speaking teacher? The teacher said her name again and Leah
stood automatically.
“Thank you, Mrs. Larson,” she said. “There are a number of
things that I am good at and it’s funny you ask that question because someone
else recently asked me the same thing. At first I couldn’t think of a single
thing so I asked someone else. Their answer told me something about myself that
I always knew was true but was afraid to really acknowledge or even view as a
talent. She told me that I provide great customer service. I’ve received the
monthly customer service award where I work seven times in the last two years.
There’s something about helping people and leaving them with a smile that seems
to come easily to me. I enjoy it so much, so maybe that’s why I’m good at it.”
Leah could hardly believe it was her, speaking without
hesitation and without even a single er or um . She didn’t sound
like an ass. In fact she sounded pretty damn good.
“I’d like to be serviced,” came the comment from across the
room. “You any good at that?”
Leah turned—not just her head but her whole
